Even with all the rain in July, Baker and Reid were able to get our new spartite installed AND the windows glued back in with some glue that is more flex resistant.  Our first Tuesday race was yesterday and we were first to finish in class by 3 seconds and are showing as first place but I believe the ratings are wrong and we will be second place.  This Friday 8/6 is the St. Elmos race and currently we have Baker, J.T. and James able to attend.  Reid has to work and I will be at the CYC Grand Opening for the new clubhouse in Charlevoix.  So, please, any others that can make please let Jim or I know.  Bring a sailing buddy?
